Embers Fade to Framing Hanley

For those of us who share a similar taste in music, we share the same image when we think of this in particular group. In that case you can visualize the smell of sweat as you watch the crowd jump up and down in a crazed motion, and almost all do the same thing. You can hear the girls scream over their crazed obsession over some member of the band, but the truth is only some of us can really appreciate this scenery though many others find it repulsive.

These guys never planned to become famous. According to the bands lead singer, Kenneth Nixon in a video interview from www.youtube.com/framinghanley`they played for the blatant fact that they loved to make music. They had no interest in being famous therefore little did they know they would become one of the most famous bands in the nation. Making music was a way of getting away from the gruesome troubles in their life

They started a small hometown band in the drummer Chris Vesti and fiancée Ashley Hanley’s garage in Nashville, TN. The members included the following: Kenneth Nixon as the lead singer, Tim Hukinson as lead guitarists and backing vocals, Chris Vesti as drummer and backing vocals, Brandon Woocher as backup guitar and backing vocals, and Luke Mcdaffe as bass and backing vocalist (framing Hanley, http://en.wikepedia.org/).

Chris Vesti and Luke Mcdaffe went through school from elementary to college. They started out playing in the school band in middle school and in high school they moved up to the high school jazz band for two years. Kenneth became a part of the crew during college when they met at a school football game. After the three of them got a degree in music they left college and held a daily practice in Chris Vesti's garage under the name embers fade (http://www.sonicbids.com).

During one of those many practices they met up with guitarist Brandon Wooten and Tim Hukinson. Tim’s wife told sonic bid reporters she could hear Chris practicing and sent her husband to tell them to keep the noise down. Tim however having a strong passion for guitar took the opportunity to join the band which then filled the last position needed to start recording. They then started recording their five song ep. Upon doing this Chris contacted former bass guitarist for creed, Brett Hestla, who upon hearing the bands five song ep agreed to record a two song demo to add to their five song ep.(http://www.sonicbids.com).

After the recording of those two demo songs Brett presented the demo album to his previous band manager, Jeff Hanson, who upon hearing this album demo immediately signed them to a indie post grunge label known as the Silent Majority Group. In June 2008, Tim left the band due to recurring back problems and to pursue other endeavors in his life. He was immediately replaced by a friend of the band, guitarist Ryan Belcher. This was originally a temporary arrangement but Ryan soon became a permanent member of the band (http://www.sonicbids.com).

The band recorded their first album with Hestla in Orlando, Florida. The album was called The Moment and was released in 2007 and included their hit single Hear me now. In November 2008, Framing Hanley released The Moment Deluxe Edition which also includes a rock cover of Lil Wayne's hit "Lollipop”. Before the release of this album however they weren’t known as framing Hanley

They started their career known as embers fade until October of 2007 when drummer Chris Vestis fiancée, Ashley Hanley was driving to pick him up from Kenneth Nixon’s house where they had a discussion on a song Kenneth had written and had a head on collision with the passing car and had an unfortunate fate come to her. The band then adopted the name Framing Hanley. The name stood for the fact that Ashley did all the bands photography that’s what framing stood for and Hanley of course for her last name (http://www.winamp.com/).

The summer of 2008 brought them their first tour with Evan’s Blue, fair to midland, Red, and Cavo. It also brought them a fall 2009 tour with Trapt, Saving Abel, and Fuel. They hit the studio again in November 2009 and intend to make a strong comeback for 2010(http://www.imeem.com/)..
